It has been two years since I first started this blog. It seems like only yesterday. A lot has changed in my life this past year. I bought a house, got married and changed jobs. This year has brought with it a number of trials, but also many happy times as well. Overall, I consider myself to be very richly blessed. So I want to thank God for all the blessings He has given me and my family, and I hope to continue this blog for many years to come.
Wow. Two great open source products released in the same week. Yesterday Fedora Core 6, today Firefox 2.0. Some of the new features include enhanced tabbed browsing, spell check for web forms and support for Google Suggest in the search bar. It also includes a new anti-phishing system to warn users of fraudulent web sites. You can read more about the new features from their release announcement.
The club soccer team I play on, United Football Club, now has its own blog. There is not a whole lot to see at the moment, but I am sure more stuff will be posted in the near future.
We were the runners-up in our recently completed outdoor season. I am looking forward to starting our first indoor season in two weeks. We will be looking to improve on our record and take first place this time around.
After a couple of delays, Fedora Core 6 has been released! Jump on the torrent and start downloading. Now I can repave my workstation and replace my increasingly dysfunctional Gentoo system.
The fourth installment of Productive Talk is now up on 43Folders. This episode is all about using GTD within a team, and leading by example. Good stuff!
